Picture_1Thanks to new desktop computers, server, phone system, and software updates for the entire staff, operations behind the scenes are moving more smoothly and efficiently than ever. Upgrades like these have allowed Citi Performing Arts Center to extend its reach without leaving the office. Citi Center now connects with the community across social media platforms and spreads the message of its iconic theatres and outreach efforts to over 1,500 individuals through Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Since premiering paparazzi-inspired “Fan Cams” in July 2009, Citi Center has captured audience reactions to sold-out performances ranging from Lady Gaga to Steely Dan. Citi Center has recorded concertgoers, and has created several videos showcasing educational programs, SpectrumBoston events, restoration footage, and non-profit mission.  The Poduska Family Foundation supported the Citi Performing Arts Center with a $100,000 grant to fund these technology initiatives to strengthen its position as a portal for the performing arts, arts education, and theater management in Greater Boston. The Foundation is pleased to be a part of a continuing partnership with Citi Center.
